    Sharon Sellers is a business executive with twenty years’ experience in the human resources and management field.  She is also the owner of a consulting firm that specializes in providing training and human resources services to assist clients in achieving their strategic goals.  Sellers helps foreign owned companies manage their employees in the U.S.

    She is also a motivational speaker and author of The Mimosa Tree, (pub. Dec. 2011).

    Sellers is active in local, state and national human resource organizations.  Her leadership rolls are as follows Director-Elect of South Carolina Society of HR Management (SHRM) 2012-2013 and Past President of the Tri-County Management Association (Charleston SHRM Chapter), 2010-2011.

    Her specialty services include performing HR assessments and compliance audits, conducting employee surveys, performing supervisory training, anti-harassment (including sexual harassment) training, compensation management, and assisting start-ups with establishing U.S. -compliant policies and procedures.


    HR Trivia

    The realities of a constantly changing work environment and work force are creating challenges for Human Resources.  Companies are dealing with various issues surrounding recruitment, retention, diversity, benefits, and much more.  To help alleviate some of the daily stress, this program is designed to be a learning experience that is fun and interactive.  In a game show environment, the attendees will be in teams.  The host will allow teams to select various questions from HR categories such as Recruitment, Benefits, Compensation, Diversity, Harassment, Training, Retention, Legalities and much more.  Teams will be allowed to answer the question selected.  The speaker who is the host will explain why answers are correct or incorrect.  A correct answer will result in team points.  The team with the highest amount of points is the HR Trivia winner.  The goal is to provide answers and resources to those everyday questions that are now popping up for all HR professional.
