    " Onboarding: Focusing on I-9 Compliance"


    The Department of Homeland Security will be presenting on everything you need to know about the I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification Form.  During this one hour presentation, Special Agent Roubal will be giving background on the I-9, reviewing how to properly complete and correct a Form I-9, and giving instructions on the storage and retention of a Form I-9 and Resources.  Q&A to follow presentation.


    Speaker: Special Agent Andrea Roubal


    Andrea Roubal is a Special Agent for the Department of Homeland Security, Homeland Security Investigations in Greenville, SC.  Agent Roubal began her law enforcement career in 1994, as a Border Patrol Agent with the Immigration & Naturalization Service (INS).  She also worked as an Immigration Inspector on the Canadian Border, and as a Criminal Investigator for INS in Greer, SC.  She has been employed as a Criminal Investigator by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security/Homeland Security Investigations since its inception in 2003. 


    As a criminal investigator with INS and HSI, Agent Roubal conducts multitude of investigations dealing with criminal and administrative law violations of various Immigration and Customs laws. 


    Agent Roubal is a part-time IMAGE Coordinator for the state of South Carolina, and in that capacity she provides training and outreach to employers.
