    In this talk, Patrick Gillooly, Director of Digital Communication and Social Media at Monster, will discuss how the nature of work is changing as new generations enter the workforce as digital natives, with a wealth of information about how to find jobs, learn about employers and navigate the employment landscape through social media, messaging apps and mobile.

    Patrick Gillooly is the Director of Digital Communication and Social Media at Monster, where he leads a team of community managers who focus on developing social content and engaging with our job seeker and employer audiences across more than 20 platforms. His team also works closely with other areas of the company — notably the content, public relations and product teams — to bring social data and insights to the whole organization.

    Prior to working at Monster, Gillooly led the web- and content-strategy efforts for the external communications team at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. A graduate of Boston University, he spent the first few years of his career working as the news editor for a mid-sized daily newspaper in central Massachusetts.
