"The C-Suite: How to get a Seat at the Executive Table"

Healthcare is an all-inclusive industry that is made up of many different professionals of all different walks of life in an equal opportunity employer environment. While this is true, there still remains a very small number of women in the C-Suite.

In this presentation, you will learn how you can earn a spot at the C-Suite. Below are a few ways that will be discussed during this presentation to help pave the way to your professional path to the C-Suite.

    1. Be Visible – Putting yourself out there and speaking up. Getting involved or volunteering for special projects.
    2. Have a mentor – (Male or Female) – Finding someone in a leadership position that you respect and trust who already has a seat at the table. Build a relationship with them, confiding in them about your interests in professional growth.
    3. Bring something to the table – If you want a seat at the table, be sure you bring something of tangible value. What differentiates you from others? Develop and highlight some of these talents. Become known for being an expert in these areas. This will make you an asset.
